Marston - Collectica Bailiffs

Post by Ari88 »

Good morning all, I currently have a major issue with a debt collecter through marstons/collectica. to cut a long story short i have been unwell for quite sometime on dialasys & undergoing a kidney transplant including going through some major depression. In this time without work i've accumilated some debt and not being ableto work hasn't helped. I am dealing with the majority of them perfectly fine but last week i was openhign some letters to a high court fine i got which i hhave traced back to not declaring my bike sorn when i was in hospital ill. As much as its annoying as i didnt have alot of control of the matter i have to swallow the fine. Im currently in 24k debt ive just started a new job so i emailed collectica telling them my situation and asked if i can have a months grace period or setup a payment plan, 5 days later i got a email back saying they couldnt talk to me over email and i was to call them, That same morning i was at my mums home visiting and i noticed a letter as i was about to leave saying that they attended at 10.15am... Me and my mum was literally gobsmacked as we was sitting in the living room next to the front door all morning and didnt hear anything, even the dog was silent and hears ppl walking upto the door. Anyways the £350 fine is now £660 and after talking to them on the phone they would not accept any payment plan and said the fine has to be paid in full, Which i just cant do!!. Now heres ther issue.. I live at a friends house who he lets a room to me and i dont live at my mums, And these baillfs are now turning up at my mums house and she is trembling with fear, The bailiffs said they can remove goods at the address if they wish to unless my mum has receipts, Now shes fairly comfident she can on old bankstatments and such but it wouldnt be for all her stuff like some white goods and such. Im not on the electorate roll there are no bills in my name. i only get my post there to collect. Now i know alot of ppl will be saying yea yea hes on a wind up but i genuinely dont, and my poor mum gave me her kidney and im very close to her and its killing me shes going through this worry especially on the run up to Xmas. I just need any advice what to do to protect her and her property and goods. Im completely open with the collecters they can have my phone number email but i just cant give my friends address out for the simple reasons of the samething happening to him. Im completely at a loss what to do and i just seem to be effecting friends and family and im pullignmy hair out.
