Notice of Issue of Warrant of Control

Post by yahoo »

Hi, I've just received a NoIWC and am a now worried what to do. I had a money claim against me which I agreed to. I used the HMCS online service to communicate etc and when I couldn't agree to the 2 x unaffordable repayment amounts, I objected and offered more affordable terms. The creditor wanted to issue a CCJ against me. I have kept checking the HMCS online service and it said a judge would contact me to update me. Having received the NoIWC, it looks like the CCJ was lodged against me but I haven't received any paperwork confirming this. Is that what should have happened? I've been waiting to be updated but received no paperwork until today!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you accept you owe the debt then send in an N245 form to the court to stay and vary the judgement. This will pause any enforcement action and allow you to show the court what you can afford to pay each month.
