Notice of issue of warrant of control

Good day to you new member here
We have had a notice of warrant given us to do through the post
We know whonuts from our old Accountant
We asked him for proof this is owed but he has said he has sent proof
We did receive a letter from another company saying if we don’t reply with our defence this action we have received would happen ..
We wrote to the firm ( Thomas somebody in Liverpool ) got nothing back also we emailed the Accountant she he said nothing more to discuss... I would like to know how I can still fight this as we don’t believe we owe all of it
