Marston bailiff

Post by Dannnyyy »

So I had Marston bailiff at the door today, instead of paying him I paid directly to court, sent him payment confirmation and said it was paid... now he’s still texting me and saying that warrant is still valid until court says different. Is that right?

This explains the legal position when a fine is paid into court after the bailiff is instructed. http://www.nationalbailiffadvice.uk/Pay ... liffs.html

Even though I’ve told him I’ve paid and sent receipt, he still showed up today at 6:15... was threatening with locksmith and police... when I’ve told him he has no right to enter he put a foot in he doorway... to stop all the harassment ive paid him and he left... have I got good ground to start legal action against him?

Foot in the door is considered by the court as force against a person. Enforcement is a fail.
