I would really appreciate some advice on the fees that have been added, as from speaking to a few people the fees are excessive.
I had a DCBL enforcement agent attend my home 6 months ago with a high court writ. The agent used force to get in to my home and in the process caused injury to my arm, he turned my home inside out and made repeated demands for the debt and after 5 hours I eventually paid £1000 that I borrowed from a friend plus he took £80 cash which was my baby’s birthday gift. I have started an injury claim against the agent.
The debt is for a judgement order and the creditor is a private individual. The creditor has decided not pursue the bailiff route as DCBL sent me a letter confirming this, but the creditor has now added all the bailiff fees to the debt.
Debt £17,737.75
Interest £81
Compliance stage £90
Enforcement stage £2,329.20
Sale stage £2,137.20
Total £22,375.21
Thanks

Re: DCBL Fees
Apply for a detailed assessment CPR84.16. Those fees are well over the top!

Thanks for the links, not still quite sure how to go about making an application, as i've never had to deal with something like this before.
Re: DCBL Fees
Whats in it for you?
Make a claim. That hits them where it hurts. In the pocket.

Re: DCBL Fees
I could really do with some guidance for the detailed assessment.
