Referral for enforcement

Post by Chris keith kelly »

Hello,
I have received a letter from DCBL which states ‘Referral for enforcement” dated 7th April.
I have not contacted as yet to find out exactly what it is for, but I have a feeling it may be a parking ticket overlooked ‘again’.
Would you advise I contact them ASAP, to agree to instalments to pay off. Is this a reasonable request? As I have been furloughed for months due to the Plndemic, I am worried they will pull the usual trick of scaremongering and demanding payment in full blah blah blah.
Do they follow up pretty quickly on these situations?
Any advice appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Chris Kelly.

Hello,
I have just noticed on the back of the letter which has ways to pay set out, that at the top of the back of the letter it states ‘This case is not subject to high court or bailiff action’.
Never seen this before.
Regards, Chris
