DCBL

Got this notice today, is it enforcible?
At the bottom it says 'This case is not subject to high court or baliff action' suggesting that this is just a debt collector trying it on.
I know they are 'famed' but should i try to contact them or just ignore.
The details are correct but it had no disabled parking details were displayed and usually in my area it is free parking for disabled
Your thoughts please

It looks like a private parking ticket, and DCBL was recently done for collecting tickets without a judgment purporting to be in the capacity of High Court enforcement agents.

Do not contact them unless they show an enforcement power or a Notice of Enforcement.

DCBL Liverpool Airport

Hi. Got first notice in 2018, as my partner collected me outside the Terminal at JLLA.

It was a February, and snowing heavily, and the road was covered and road signs were covered. We wrote explaining this and never got a reply back, instead just a load of reminders. Having read another forum we didn't reply again.

This eventually stopped, until last month we got one in June. Do I recontact to explain again, or ignore please? Thanks.

If you get a claim form, a Form N1, then defend it on the grounds you have stated and that they ignored your response.

That makes it commercially unprofitable for the parking company to pursue and you can apply to get the claim struck out under CPR 3,4 for failure to engage with you in the pre-action protocols.
