Civil Enforcement Ltd

Post by wizard111 »

Hi,
I have just received a PCN, for overstaying in a Car Park(28/10/20). The issue date is 26/10/20, and the Incident Date is 21/8/20. As i understand, this is no longer valid, as they only had 14 days, from 21/8/20, to issue the invoice. However, i have read that this Company does not adhere to the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, and can claim payment. I am a bit confused, at the mixed messages, and would greatly appreciate clarification, from the knowledgeable folk from this Forum. Many thanks.

If the incident date is 21 August 2020, then the limit to issue a regulated notice is limited to 14 days under paragraph 9(4) of Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.
