New Emergency Legislation was brought in by the govenment with Immediate effect from 26th March.

This means effectively All Bailiff enforcement Action has been suspended for a Period of 90 days.

This Act Supercedes and overules any law before it meaning Bailiffs Should Not be physically presenting themselves on anyone's property during this time to carry out Any Enforcement of Any Kind !!!

If they do they are Breaking the Law !!!

This Act is to help prevent further spread of Corona Virus and save Lives and not to put any further distress to anyone during this National Crisis we all Facing

So the 25th of June 2020 is going to be a bad day for some people.

Private parking companies are still trading. They send tickets and demands through the post using homeworkers monitoring CCTV.

There have been no new liability orders, warrants or high court writs since 26 March.

The detailed assessments and injunctions all involve writs and warrants issued before that date.

Bailiff companies are still sending correspondence to debtors through the post.

I have had a hand delivered notice from the bailiff during this 90 day period. It was one of those open envelope notices that they drop through the letterbox.

In 2020? or was it in the same period of this year? The 90 day period was only for the 1st lockdown.

I see. It was this year. So I guess it does not apply.
