Rules around bailiffs taking possession of a car

I was advised that bailiffs are unable to take my trusty old Ford Mondeo as it's classed as exempt as exempt as its under the value of £1350.

Only if you use it for work or trade. Regulation 4 of the Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2013

If a bailiff takes control of it, you make an interpleader claim
