Rossendales
A phone call came through on my mobile. I called it back. It was Rossendales and did not give my name as I have had no correspondence from them . What do I do with this contact ? Do I ignore?

Re: Rossendales
You think that they may have rung my number by mistake? Is it not normal to send alleged debts letter of action before enforcement to the debtor giving 7 days to resolve first? They gave no name who they were pursuing.
Re: Rossendales
If your phone is Android, just block the number and think nothing more of it.
Android shares the blocked number in a database and it is automatically blocked by other Android users.

It is not the bailiff part of the company but the Debt Collector part. They allege I owe £98 To the Council which was for transport. I will pay the Council direct. Any views on this?
Re: Rossendales
Call you LA first thing Monday morning, ask for details of what, why and when.
If this is a normal debt, (Not been to Court) then pay direct.
If it's been to Court it would have already incurred the first fee.
If the is just their debt collection arm, then you don't have to let them in. They may try to add some fees which they can't do. If it's been to Court then the fees will be due.
Don't worry over the weekend but keep doors locked just in case. As once they gain peaceful entry then more fees will be due.
